Sometimes a simple meal can become an unexpected moment of connection. 🍕

Today, Angels on Assignment Worldwide was able to fulfill part of our mission by providing a pizza to a man experiencing homelessness here in Tampa.

What happened next touched me most.

After receiving his pizza, he went over to a group of other people experiencing homelessness and shared it with them.

He could have walked away and kept it for himself, but instead, he chose to share what he had just received.

That’s the kind of moment that reminds us that kindness can go further than we ever see.

This is what our movement of hope is about—one assignment at a time.

🍕 UPDATE! 💙💛

I just learned that my childhood friend who purchased 7 Blaze Pizza fundraiser tickets is actually not in Tampa. She simply purchased them because she wanted to support the mission. 💙

And that made me think about the heart behind these tickets.

Patrick’s desire has always been that these tickets could do more than raise funds for AOAWI. They could also help provide a meal for someone who may not have the funds to purchase one — perhaps a single mom who is struggling, someone in between paychecks, someone waiting on a benefit check, or a family going through a difficult season.

Dr. Bernard has already put that vision into action by using purchased tickets to help provide meals to people who need them.

So, rather than simply giving these 7 tickets away at random, we’re thinking about using them as 7 opportunities to genuinely bless someone who could really use a meal right now. 💙

If you or someone you know could truly benefit from one of these tickets, we’re considering inviting people to privately message AOAWI and briefly share why receiving a meal would be a blessing right now.

No need to share personal circumstances publicly in the comments.

Then, there will be a review and the recipients will be chosen.

We want this to be about more than pizza. We want it to be about meeting a need, showing someone they are seen, and putting a little hope on the table.

Because sometimes supporting the mission means purchasing a ticket.

And sometimes supporting the mission means helping someone receive one. 💙💛

Support has no distance. 💙

A BIG thank-you to our second online supporter from outside the Tampa area!

Our first online purchase came from Louisiana, and now we have a supporter in Tallahassee who purchased multiple Blaze Pizza fundraiser tickets to support Angels on Assignment Worldwide. 🍕

That means a lot.

You don’t have to live here to believe in the assignment. You simply have to be willing to support it.

Thank you for standing with AOAWI and helping us move this fundraiser forward—one ticket, one supporter, one assignment at a time.

💙 The assignment continues.

HELLO FROM AOAWI ☀️

Every day is an opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life.

You may not know who needs your encouragement today. You may not see the full impact of one conversation, one act of kindness, or one moment of showing up—but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t matter.

Your assignment may be as simple as reminding someone that they are valued.

Be present. Be intentional. Be hope.
