Career transitions can feel like starting from scratch. But what if you’re not beginning again — what if you’re building forward?
In this energizing and practical talk, Adam Peters challenges the idea that reinvention requires erasing the past. Instead, he shows how adopting a positive mindset unlocks access to the skills, resilience, relationships, and wisdom you’ve been accumulating all along.
Participants will learn how to stop internalizing rejection, reframe setbacks as necessary feedback, and recognize negativity bias when it shows up. Adam introduces his formula for developing a preference for positivity — not as blind optimism, but as a strategic advantage. Through stories and actionable insights, he reminds audiences that self-worth is an investment, transferable skills are everywhere, and at any given moment, more options exist than we typically allow ourselves to see.
This session leaves attendees feeling grounded, resourced, and supported — ready to move forward with clarity and confidence.

About Our Speaker:
Adam Peters is a Tampa Bay–based motivational speaker and facilitator who helps people navigate change with clarity and confidence. With a career that spans multiple industries, Adam understands firsthand how reinvention requires more than new skills—it requires a new mindset.
He is the organizer of Lifelong Learners of Tampa Bay, a monthly personal development event series that brings curious professionals together to grow, connect, and explore what’s next. Adam’s work focuses on helping people move past insecurity, stop internalizing rejection, and identify the priorities that make career decisions clearer and more aligned. His approach emphasizes transferable skills and the belief that success is less about starting over—and more about building forward.
General Meeting:

"Take Your Game Face Off" Meeting:
At the end of our monthly general meetings, we take our “game faces” off and sharing what’s in our hearts. This group provides a confidential, safe and casual atmosphere where the goal is to help Rebounders deal with stress, discouragement, relationship issues, self-esteem and/or fear. We take an oath at the start of the meeting that what is said in the room stays in the room.
