We are excited to announce our 2025 Sheena Scott Beacon of Hope Awardee, Jamie Arnold!

Jamie, a Tampa native and top pitching prospect from Florida State University, was selected 11th overall in this year’s MLB Draft by the Athletics. Before heading to professional baseball, Jamie made a major impact through his K-Time for Cystic Fibrosis campaign - inspired by his friend and CF fighter, Bradley Wombles, from Tallahassee. Jamie pledged $25 for every strikeout in his final season at FSU, finishing with 119 strikeouts for a total of $2,975. With additional contributions, his overall personal total reached $6,000! His efforts quickly grew beyond the FSU community and supporters nationwide rallied behind his cause, bringing his total fundraising to an incredible $30,000 in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s West Florida Chapter. Jamie’s passion and dedication not only raised vital funds but also brought tremendous awareness about cystic fibrosis - highlighted in numerous news features, interviews, and even during his first-round draft moment in the 2025 Major League Baseball draft.

We are thrilled to have Jamie join us at Rock N’ Roses on November 15th as we honor him and his extraordinary efforts as the 2025 Sheena Scott Beacon of Hope Awardee.
