Want to be a part of the change that will keep your student safer in their FSU dorm? Read below!

We are Safe Noles, a student run campaign at Florida State University. As your student may be moving into their dorm soon this summer, or later in the fall, we are sure you want your child to be as safe as possible while living on campus. With this being said, the current system of using an FSU Card to get into a dorm building often fails the first, second, or even third attempt, as your student may come to find out pretty soon. Not only is this inconvenient to not be able to enter your building, but it presents a safety issue for our campus. What happens if a student needs to quickly access their building to reach safety, and their FSU Card took too long to work? Our solution to this is FSU housing making the switch to touchless key fobs, that work on the first attempt, that can easily be accessed, and that present many safety benefits. With your help of students and parents, we hope to make this change.
