A day of bring joy to the elderly with Easter Baskets.

Volunteers from Good Shepherd Catholic Church helped assemble Easter Baskets for delivery to the elderly poor next week. Community involvement for this project was tremendous. St. Stephen's Lutheran Church graciously donated sheets, pillows, blankets, and towels. Faith Presbyterian Church volunteers of the Rags To Bags committee donated 70 tote bags. Friends of The Blessing Cup of Tallahassee donated such items as socks, toiletries, and Easter candy. Thanks to all who participated in this fun project for the elderly poor of The Blessing Cup of Tallahassee.

Gratitude is extended to all who voted for us in the 2025 GiveTLH. The Blessing Cup of Tallahassee was awarded 2nd Place at the banquet at the Kearney Osceola Grill at FSU stadium. The $5,000 received will be allocated to install a walk-in shower, replacing the tub in our women’s residence.

Our volunteers are preparing Christmas gifts for 125 disadvantaged elderly persons, which are scheduled for distribution next week.

The Blessing Cup of Tallahassee, Inc. Is one of six nominees for Rick Kearney’s annual GiveTLH Awards. We would like your help to win this award. The WCTV interview with The Blessing Cup of Tallahassee will be broadcast during the 5:30 newscast on Monday, November 17th. Community online voting begins November 18th through the 28th at www.GiveTLH.com. Any funds awarded to the Blessing Cup will be used for a “walk in shower” to replace the tub in our elderly woman’s home that residents cannot manage.
