Tallahassee Food Network

Tallahassee Food Network TFN is a regional coalition of the global movement that works to grow community-based good food systems. We organize across lines of division.

TFN is a hub of our area food movement. We connect folks across lines of division such as neighborhood, income, race, and gender to build relationships and foster partnerships in order to grow community-based food systems that ensure healthy, green, fair, and affordable food access to an educated world.

MFN member Miaisha Mitchell, co-founder of Tallahassee Food Network and director of The Greater Frenchtown Revitalization Council, grew up in Smokey Hollow, a majority-Black neighborhood in Tallahassee, Florida. In 1964, the neighborhood was bulldozed to make room for a parkway and campus office space.
