School groups can now come to the Montgomery College Leggett building planetarium we have a good place for the bus in front of the building. Please call Dr. Harold Alden Williams iPhone 240-461-4849. Give me a date and grade level and some idea about what you want. The new planetarium has 30 foot nano seams and 4k laser projections. Other groups are welcome as well, scouts girl and boy. Church, temple, and synagogue groups. We can accommodate more than one hundred. We have lots of chairs. We also have free public programs, but you must get tickets next one is 7:30pm Saturday November 2 and December 7. Dr. Carrie Fitzgerald formerly of the Rockville campus is working with me also. I am blesssed. We will have some music laser light shows and even chilling under the dome. The software is Digistar 7 from Cosm, ES, and Spitz. I saw the sky in Aksum, Ethiopia today in 1500BC, the north star was not our current Polaris. You can also sign up to take ASTR101 in the dome starting again on the last week of January 2025. Dr. Fitzgerald and I will both be teach again in Late January 2025. I saw the Aurora and a comet last week at the Digistar Users Group meeting in Salt Lake City.
