Can you assist by donating snacks for our deployed troops overseas? Please look for these products at Walmart. 1 oz bags of peanuts and packs of Ramen. We use these products often all year. Please watch expire dates. Thank you. Next meeting and care packages are July 12. Snacks can be dropped off at our office 816 S. College Ave. Tahlequah Ok. Please share.

Reminder- Sunday June 7 we will do care pkgs at 1:30, meeting to follow. We are collecting men’s New summer shorts with pockets/drawstring all month (size medium-3x, black/navy/gray for our veterans at Muskogee’s VA Hospital. We also need these items for our care packages: ramen flat packs & Walmart brand peanuts 1 oz. We need 24 of each all summer. Thank You!

Happy May- one day it’s spring, then it’s winter- hang in there. This reminds me of crazy weather our troops have to endure. For anyone wanting to donate snacks to send to our military- we are collecting 12 packs of ramen(flat pack-not in cups). Walmart brand peanuts 1 oz. Requesting several dozen. Remember to check expire dates! Thank you in advance! Next meeting is June 7 at 1:30, creating care packages that same day. Please share.

Please come to the Tahlequah community building on Saturday May 2 Craft show. Blue Star Mothers OK #21 will be there 8-4. We will have Rada cutlery, patriotic tea towels, homemade cookies. Come by and show your support for active military & area veterans. Also Sunday May 3 at 1:30 we will create care packages to ship over seas. Join us at 816 S. College Ave. Anyone can volunteer. Please share.

We will create care packages April 12 at 1:30. Still needing Frito scoops 9 1/4 oz and bean dip in can 9 oz. Dollar Gen, Walmart or Reasors will have these. Remember to check expire which needs to be in May. Snacks can be dropped off M-F at 816 S. College from 9-4:30. Conference room at Habitat for Humanity has a donation tub by our office door. Thanks for assisting & supporting active military.

Can you provide a snack for our soldiers over seas? Right now we are collecting Frito scoops size 9 1/4 oz. and bean or cheese dip in can 9 oz. We need 20. These will be used in our April care packages. Deadline April 9. Items can be dropped off at 816 S. College Ave conference room. Open M-F 9 till 5. Thank you for assisting!

Thanks to our members and volunteers that showed up to create care packages today. Due to the cold/rainy weather some folks couldn’t make it. We sent Easter eggs, chocolate, full size packs of Oreos, cocoa, nuts, granola bars, ink pens, big bottles of shampoo, toothpaste, lotion, chips, pretzels, playing cards, socks and hand/toe/body warmers. For area veterans: we are collecting new winter sweatpants with pockets thru August. Colors:navy, black or gray. sizes med-3X. The public is invited to assist us by donating new sweatpants with pockets. Donations can be dropped off at 816 S. College Tahlequah OK 74464 M-F. please leave a note with your donation including name/address. Financial donations always welcome- use address above. Thank you!
