Taft High School Greyhound Band "The Band with Pride"

This past Saturday, we had 7 students travel to Texas A&M–Kingsville to compete, and we could not be more proud of how they represented Taft.

Across four performances, our students earned two Excellent ratings and two Superior ratings at the contest. Liyah Driver and Antonio Maldonado both received Division I ratings on their solos, with Antonio qualifying for State-level competition at the end of May.

These results are not given — they are earned through hours of focused practice, discipline, and commitment. Congratulations to all of our students for the work you put in and for representing Taft with excellence. We are proud of you all!
