🎨 As we wrap up another incredible school year, we’re excited to invite you to our final GEN meeting of the year—a special Mental Health Art Directive.

Need to take a pause from the stress of finals and end-of-year responsibilities, connect with others, and explore how art can be a powerful tool for supporting mental health. No artistic experience is needed just bring yourself and an open mind.

We’re also thrilled to welcome Katrina Van Strein, who will be joining us for this meaningful event. Her insights and participation will help make this a memorable way to close out the year together.

Join us for our annual End Of Year Celebration (EOYC) on Friday, June 5th from 5-8pm in Milgard 110!

This year our theme is "Ginituang Alaala: Golden Memories" in honor of reminiscing and reflecting on this past year. Celebrate this past year’s memories, senior achievements (and stole ceremony), and meet the 2026-2027 Officer Board! 🧡🌅

👕👗Although not required, we suggest dressing in your finest golden hour inspired clothing which includes semi-formal wear with colors such as: white/beige, orange/red, earth tones, and overall sunset colors.

Our very own Filipino America Student Association will be performing next week‼️🇵🇭

FASA sa UWT, established in 2014, aims to spread awareness of Filipino/Filipinx and Filipino American heritage educationally. culturally, politically, and socially. Promoting unity among Filipinos and Filipino Americans at the University of Washington Tacoma and the greater community, standing as an ally with other minority groups at the University of Washington Tacoma and the greater community.

IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN FASA!!

Nominations for your 2026-2027 officer board is now OPEN! Think you/someone you know would be a great addition to the FASA board? Nominate them now and continue the legacy of FASA sa UWT. You should join the officer board if you want to: get more involved in FASA, work with the community, learn & educate about the Fil-Am community, create fun events, strengthen your leadership skills, and create great memories for future members! Stay updated on our election season dates, Election Day happening on May 6th 12:30-2! All nominees MUST be a current active member to be considered.

Magandang umaga mga kaibigans☀️ We’re back at it with another fundraiser, this time it is our annual Kapit Bisig Relief (KBR)/ typhoon relief fundraiser! This year we’ve collaborated with Paraluman Cafe, a FASA sa UWT alumni owned small business, for a bake sale. 😋

🍪 The menu includes many Filipino comfort treats that anyone and everyone can enjoy; where a portion of the proceeds will go to helping victims of typhoons in the Philippines. You can place your orders through the link in our bio, form closes on February 9 and orders will be distributed February 18!

❓Every year, the Philippines faces multiple natural disasters including earthquakes and super typhoons, destroying the land and causing it to be unlivable for many years or at all. From the past 2 typhoons in 2025, over thousands have lost their homes. Hundreds have been injured and many passed due to the harsh weathers and lack of resources the government have not provided. As usual, we are working with in fighting this crisis and helping our kababayan at home!
