The election of Officers for the year 2026-2027 and Board Directors for the Kiwanis year 2026-2028 will take place at our regular club membership meeting on Tuesday, June 23, 12 noon, at Urban Elk, 2013 S Cedar St. Tacoma, WA 98405. See your directed email for election notification and/or weekly club meeting notice for links to join the Zoom format of the club annual membership meeting.
The Election will include positions as officers and board members. Positions open are President, President-elect, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary for the year October 1, 2026 – September 30, 2027. Additionally, three members will be elected as Directors for the term October 1, 2026 – September 30, 2028.
The Nominating Committee will present a slate of candidates. If you wish to be listed on the ballot for any office, please contact President Norman Bellamy at [email protected]. The slate of candidates and any others nominated by themselves or by the membership will be voted upon at the annual meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Tacoma. Nominations are accepted until the election for office begins. A unanimous consent will be sought if there are no competitive elections. Another format will be sought if there are competitive elections.
In accordance with the bylaws of the Kiwanis Club of Tacoma Foundation, the elected Board members of the Kiwanis Club of Tacoma will serve as the Board members of the Kiwanis Club of Tacoma Foundation.
