LegallyBLACK is hosting an event where men can gather and discuss their role in community action, leadership, impact, and fatherhood. This exclusive event will include 18 holes of golf followed by dinner on us! Attendees also receive gift bags with more info about our organization and items to help enhance their game!

Why "Ask a Cop"?
Because if you rather ask an attorney it means things have already escalated and you got money like that. Joining our virtual event is to help PREVENT your needs to hire an attorney after a police encounter. Know your rights, theirs, the rules, and expectations. The officer we have joining us is NOT local to Tacoma WA. We did this because we know a lot of people from Tacoma want answers but do not trust the local department to be honest or empathetic. Getting answers from an uncompromised, unbiased officer who knows the real racial tension between law enforcement and community is important. ​​This is a safe space for EVERYONE. Register on our website or by scanning the QR code in our post. Drop your questions and join us. For added comfort, we kept this virtual to keep distance and personal information of everyone restricted. Only first names will be displayed on zoom.

Remember- our founder's uncle was killed by police. And each of our board members has experienced the ugly side of police. The officer joining us has been vetted and is trusted.

Our founder, Tisha Marie and her husband, Lionel are in the running to be named "America's Favorite Couple" in Variety Magazine. They hope to use this platform to talk about Black Maternal Health just 2 years after the traumatic death of their daughter who only lived for one day. This couple has supported our community in more ways than we can list. Let us show them the same love and support in return.
