Paradosi Ballet Company

Paradosi Ballet Company Paradosi Ballet Company is a touring Christian ballet company based in Tacoma, Washington.

Paradosi Ballet Company is a touring Christian ballet ministry dedicated to glorifying Jesus through dance, discipleship, and outreach. Paradosi was established in 2007 in Tacoma, Washington, and has been sharing the love, hope, and beauty of Jesus through worship events, outreach programs, and personal testimony for nearly two decades. Our mission is that: “Through the arts we will worship God, l

ove people, share the Gospel, and make disciples of Jesus everywhere we go.”

We provide opportunities for dancers to grow in both their faith and artistry through our Ballet Ministry Apprentice Program, a unique Christian ballet trainee-level program for dancers who feel called to serve in ballet ministry, and our annual Christian Summer Dance Intensive, where dancers deepen their technique while growing spiritually. While much of our ministry is focused on the West Coast of the United States, Paradosi has also traveled extensively across North America and Europe, bringing the hope of Jesus to communities around the world.

Today we pause with gratitude to remember those who gave their lives in service for the freedoms we are blessed to live with each day.

May we remember with humility, honor, and prayer those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, as well as the families who still carry the cost.

Greater love has no one than this:
to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
John 15:13

“Peace! Be still!” ~Mark 4:39

In Mark 4, the disciples were caught in the middle of a raging storm. The wind was strong, the waves were overwhelming, and fear began to rise.

But Jesus was with them.

He stood and spoke to the storm: “Peace! Be still!” And the wind and waves obeyed.

Jesus never promised us a life without storms but He did promise us His presence. He is Lord even in the greatest of storms. He is faithful and He is able to bring peace in the middle of what feels overwhelming.

Whatever storm you may be facing today, may you be reminded: you are not alone! The One who calms the sea is with you. He will not leave you to face it alone. Turn to Him and let His peace comfort your heart.

Another beautiful moment from Mother’s Day week.

Yesterday we had the joy of sharing worship at a local care center and it was such a gift to see residents responding, worshiping, and receiving the hope of Jesus.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. Dance becomes more than movement. It becomes ministry, encouragement, and worship shared with those who need it.

We are especially grateful for the opportunity to honor and encourage so many women this week, including those who may have needed a reminder that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten.

“Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day.” ~ Psalm 96:2

“Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day!” ~ Psalm 96:2

This morning we had the honor of worshiping through dance during the service at South Tacoma Assembly of God.

What a joy it was to lift up the name of Jesus and proclaim the hope of salvation through His love and grace. In every season, both the joyful and the difficult, He alone is worthy of our praise. 🤍

Ask. Seek. Knock.
Matthew 7:7

Sometimes the door in front of us looks old, heavy, weathered, and like it may never open.

But Jesus invites us to come to Him with faith to ask, seek, and knock. Not because every door opens the way we want it to open but because our Heavenly Father hears, sees, and leads His children with wisdom and love.

When a door opens, we can walk forward with gratitude. When a door stays closed, we can still trust that He is good and that He knows what we need. He sees what we cannot and He opens the right doors in His perfect wisdom and timing.

Keep seeking Him with an open heart trusting that He knows which doors to open, which doors to close, and when.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7

We had the joy of dancing in worship and sharing with the students about using the gifts God has given us for His glory. Every talent, every opportunity, every step can become an offering when it is surrendered back to Him.

If you listen carefully, you can hear the students singing in worship with us! What a beautiful reminder that worship is not something we simply observe, it is something we are invited to enter into with our whole hearts.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” ~ Colossians 3:23

Thank you, Lighthouse Christian School, for welcoming us. We are grateful for the opportunity to worship with you and encourage the next generation to use their gifts for Jesus.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.” Psalm 136:1

Gratitude is not rooted in perfect circumstances, but in the unchanging goodness of God. In every season, we return to this truth and lift our hearts in thanks for who He is and for the love that never fails.
