We just received a message from Tacoma Housing Authority stating that the Salishan Family Investment Center will be closed starting at noon today. Therefore, Arts First Film Club for March 13th is canceled.

Arts First is excited to offer FREE weekly open ballet classes this spring for youth, teens, and adults! Whether you're brand new to ballet or returning after time away, these classes are designed to build confidence, strengthen technique, and create a welcoming dance community.
Our program helps remove financial barriers so more dancers can experience the beauty and discipline of ballet in a supportive environment.

We are pleased to announce that we have moved into our new studio space. The facility is fully ADA-accessible and provides an exciting opportunity to grow our programs. Reminder: This Saturday, Dec. 6, is our production day for the adult stop-motion class. I want to give everyone more time to complete their projects, so I’m opening the studio an hour early at 4:00 p.m. to 8pm. If you would like to use the extra hour, you are welcome to arrive at 4:00 p.m. If not, you may come at the regular class time, 5:00 p.m.

The Arts First Youth Summer Film Camp will resume its regular daytime sessions next week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Due to a heat advisory this week, classes will be canceled on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 15 and 16.

The class on Thursday, July 17 has been rescheduled from 1:00–5:00 PM to 8:00 AM–12:00 noon to avoid the hottest part of the day.
