PSA Washington State, if you’re going to the fair, make sure you have your $$$ up, because $25 is no longer getting you much. Plan to have/ spend $50+ per person just on food. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. But have fun 😊.

Here’s a great opportunity!

How Does the EcSA Career Accelerator Work?
If you’re employed and looking for a higher paying job/career, the EcSA Career Accelerator could be a fantastic opportunity for you. Here’s how it works:
• Monthly Incentives: Participants in the EcSA program can receive $1,000 per month as they work towards securing a good-paying job. This money is meant to help you stay focused on your career goals without worrying about immediate financial pressures. For example, if you’re attending training or developing your skills to land a better job, this incentive can help cover your bills during that time.
• Eligibility: Anyone enrolled in the EcSA program is eligible for these monthly payments. The program especially targets Black, Latine, and tribal communities, so outreach is strong in these areas. However, all eligible individuals can benefit, regardless of their background.

Why my brother ask me did I clean the inside? One step at a time sir! Family 🤣🤣🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️❤️❤️

06/29/2024

Okay this is kind of a long post!

Today I washed my car by hand! Yes, I didn’t have to, I could’ve gone to the car dealership and got it washed for free or called anyone of my brothers or nephews and they would have gladly gotten it done but I wanted to do it myself.

By doing so it caused me to get to thinking and reflecting on “what are some things that are now considered old school or old fashion, but that still work today”.

Now not all old school things we should take with us today because some of those things are attached to trauma, oppression, and other things that cause triggers to hurt and pain. However, there are some things that still work today and have lead us to great success and victories.

For me, family connections being intentional about building family connections and extended family connections. Like say the Alfred C. Davis, Sr,. family and just about most of the families that went or came out of Eastside Community Church phase 1 aka Eastside Assembly of Believers we are still very much connected to this day- Let’s get back to that

Selling chicken dinners- thru those dinners many churches and businesses were started amd funded and guess what, it US we were buying the dinners from each other, so can and do support each and can help each other thrive - let’s get back to that

If someone needed a hand with something, they would get on the phone and call so-and-so, so-and-so would call so-and-so and before you knew it, the house was moved, the car was fixed, the problems were solved and the connections were made to uplift and keep growing-let’s get back to that.

And let’s not talked about the old school music 🙌🏾🙌🏾

So, I said ALL that to say, not all old school things were or are bad, we just have to know which ones to hang on to, to help keep pushing us forward in our purpose.

Love God, yourself, your family, and community and see things happen for the better. We are better together!
