Our Executive Director, Becky, was asked how the Rose Garden Prayer Team could pray for her this Tuesday. With her permission, we are sharing her response with hope that others might be inspired to let Christ carry their heavy burdens as well.
This is her prayer request:
Like many nonprofits, the Rose Garden has taken a hit financially over the 6-12 months. Unfortunately, I believed the lie that, as the Director, it was my responsibility to carry that weight personally.
About 4 weeks ago, I had a tearful time of surrender to the Lord. I began daily handing over all things Rose Garden and also my personal life. Since then, God has shown me His powerful love and provision over and over again.
-He protected my husband when the doctors said he had a high risk of thyroid cancer due to a PET scan result. (We were able to find out quickly that the large nodule on his thyroid was benign!)
- We had 25 people at our house last weekend, and our well pump went out on Sunday. (What a lovely protection that we didn't run out of water until people were LEAVING!)
- In the past 3 weeks since I surrendered, four different donors decided to give larger than normal checks to the Rose Garden.
It was a drop in the bucket compared to our need, but it was clear confirmation that this ministry belongs to the Lord and our obedience and dependence on HIM is what he wants. ❤️
Please pray that I continue to surrender every part of my work and my life to our trustworthy Father who has a perfect plan. May He get glory!!

This is just a bit of what God is doing in lives within our community.
We would love to have you join us in prayer to hear more this Tuesday, May 12, at 9:30am at our Graduate Home (11007 State Rd 13, Syracuse, IN 46567). Each month, we have a time of testimony by a resident, volunteer, or staff. You'll love it!
