🚨 Laundry SOS! 🚨

Well friends, it appears our dryer has decided it would like an early retirement. 😅

Normally, that might not seem like a big deal, but when you have a house full of women working hard to rebuild their lives, there is a LOT of laundry to keep up with. Towels, bedding, work clothes, meeting clothes, and all the everyday things that help make a house feel like a home.

We are looking for a volunteer who might be willing to take a look at our dryer and help us determine what is wrong. Maybe it’s a simple fix, maybe it’s something more, but we’re praying God sends the right person our way.

One thing we’ve learned over the years is that God often answers prayers through His people. Time and time again, when a need arises, someone steps forward with the exact gift, skill, or resource needed. We are continually humbled by the kindness of this community and the way you love our residents so well.

If you have experience repairing dryers or know someone who does, please send us a message.

Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus. Every act of service, whether it seems big or small, helps create a safe, stable, and loving environment where women can heal, grow, and discover the beautiful plans God has for their lives.

This scripture has us inviting you to join us next week in fasting and prayer as we give the Rose Garden's health to the Lord. 🙌
(No pressure to join! This is simply an invitation for you to consider.) There is supernatural power in a community who cries out to God.
-IF this idea appeals to you, the day is Wednesday, June 10.
-If Wednesday does not work, feel free to join on another day!
-If fasting food doesn't work for you (due to medications or life) feel free to fast a different item and replace the time you spend doing that with prayer (screens, reading, etc)

We believe that Rose Garden victory is wholly dependent upon our Lord. Regardless of whether you fast, please continue to pray for:
-Soft hearts toward Jesus for current and incoming residents
-Protection for staff during this season of challenge
-Supernatural financial provision for Rose Garden expenses
-Opportunities to share the redemptive power of Jesus with our community through Rose Garden testimonies

May you walk in the plans our Father has for you.
May your day shine with the light of Jesus.
May God's Holy Spirit bring you joy and peace.

A Rose Garden volunteer sent this song and the note:
"I love this song, while it is talking about heaven, I always think of this when we are sitting around the table at the recovery house eating together!
Makes me emotional thinking about it!"

What a beautiful sentiment! Please pray that the residents experience this while they are with us. And if you want to experience this safe space, we'd love to have you join us as a volunteer or a resident yourself! (There are also some local churches with very open arms who support us and serve in our ministry. We would love to help you find peace and belonging in this isolating world.

Thank you to Christian Church of Milford for letting us come last Sunday to tell your congregation about the miracles that we get to witness in our ministry!
Jesus redeems! He is changing lives. He is REAL.
It is such a blessing when the church comes beside us with prayer support, volunteers who are godly examples of service and love, and financial support!
Our ladies need a healthy community. This world has beat them up. It has beaten us all up. But a community of support is POWERFUL. Our people point us to Jesus, they speak truth over us, and they let us borrow their strength on days when we are so broken that we forget to turn to Jesus.

It has been SUCH A PRIVILEGE to watch Laurie fall in love with Jesus. She is a new creation. She posted about her graduation on Friday and gave us permission to share her thoughts:
"So today we celebrate. This is the first thing in a long time I've accomplished. I have figured out who Laurianne is. I have a relationship with God, and I have an amazing community. I have an awesome job with amazing ppl. I go to really good meetings several days a wk . I give God and the Rose Garden all the glory. This program has done so much for me. Thank you so much ❤️🌹"

We got a new battery for our mower and it is ready to RIDE!!!

Anyone available to jump on and mow the lawn at our graduate house?

Y’all… the mower battery at our graduate house has officially gone on to be with Jesus. 😅🪫

We are looking for a kind soul with:
✅ A jumper pack
✅ A willing heart
✅ Maybe a slight addiction to fresh cut grass lines 🤣

And if you happen to want to hop on the revived mower and help tackle the yard while you’re at it… we would be SO grateful!

This ministry runs because of people who show up in the little things. Every act of service helps create safe, beautiful spaces for women rebuilding their lives. Even jumping a mower can be kingdom work around here. 💛
