Ever wonder what mock trial is actually like? Now’s your chance to find out. Join us for our open practice tomorrow — we’ll be running a short trial, and you’re welcome to jump in or just observe!

This past weekend MTSU competed at the University at Buffalo’s Regional competition!

We want to congratulate our graduating seniors and team captains for competing at their last ever undergraduate AMTA tournament, Alex Gundry and Dana Engel. Your dedication to this team as both captains and competitors has been remarkable and we wouldn’t be the team we are without you! Thank you for all you have taught us!!

⭐️MTSU Fall 2024 Semester Recap⭐️

🏆 Invitationals & Awards
Our team competed at two invitationals this semester! At University of Rochester’s Yellow Jacket invitational, our captain Alex Gundry received an Outstanding Attorney Award with 17 ranks and our captain Dana Engel earned an Outstanding Witness Award with 17 ranks. At the Geneseo Joust, Michael Greifenstein was recognized as an Outstanding Attorney with 18 ranks. Thank you for having us!!

🎥Team Bonding
To relax from a long semester of competing and finals, MTSU got together for a Mock movie night, an annual tradition where we watch My Cousin Vinny!

⚖️Trial Advocacy Committee
This semester we launched the Trial Advocacy Committee, led by our committee chair Rosie Martin, and Emmanuel Usiomwanta, Hayley Shukiar, and Mary Grace Kerns. Together they hosted the committee’s first guest speaker, Professor Rick Trunfio of Syracuse College of Law. We are so proud of all you have accomplished!

⭐️2024 Geneseo Joust⭐️
This past weekend Mock Trial at Syracuse University competed at the 2024 Geneseo Joust. We are proud to say that we placed 4th overall! Special shoutout to .greifenstein who received an outstanding attorney award on the defense with 18 ranks! Thank you for having us ! We had so much fun!

This past weekend, MTSU competed in Yellowjacket 2024 invitational.

Congrats to our captains who each took home an outstanding award:

Dana Engel - Plaintiff witness - 17 ranks
Alex Gundry - Defense attorney - 17 ranks
