Why AO?

AO creates connections that last a lifetime.

Recently, Sharon Perlmutter attended her godson’s wedding in Chicago, where AO connections were everywhere. The groom’s mother and Sharon met as students through AO and have remained close friends ever since. The groom’s parents met through AO connections, and the bride is the daughter of an AO member from California.

While in Chicago, Sharon also met with Jewish dental students eager to restart an AO chapter at the University of Illinois Chicago. They are seeking community, mentorship, support, and a safe space—and AO will be there for them.

Friendships. Mentorship. Professional connections. Community.

That's Why AO.

Another great example of the power of the AO Family!

We are so proud to see Alpha Omega members coming together to support dental students and young professionals through mentorship, networking, and meaningful connections. Recently, our community helped connect an international dental student visiting South Florida with AO professionals for shadowing opportunities, guidance, and support as she prepares for her future career in dentistry.

This is what AO is all about — building relationships, supporting one another, and creating opportunities across generations and around the world.

Thank you to our AO members who continue to open their offices, share their knowledge, and welcome students into the profession with such generosity and kindness.

The AO Family continues to make a difference.
