Up, Up, UPPIES!!

Foster mom: “Joe asking for "uppies" 🤣. He's letting us know he NEEDS to join us on the swing bench 🥹”

Joe is one of the bonded gents of the Jiggy & Joe duo. They are the easiest going, sweetest and friendliest little guys. 💙💙

They love their twice a day “walkies” and are up to about 20 mins each walk as they build their stamina and get more svelte. 💪🏽💪🏽 If they have that, and plenty of cuddles and “uppies” a day, they are set!

J&J are Yorkies and are approx 6 years young. Their full bios can be found at tarashouse.org and a link to apply can be found in the comments. 🥰

We’d like you all to join us in wishing MAX a very happy 14th birthday!! 🎂🎈

Max, if you recall, is a Tara’s House alum who found himself in a shelter when one of his very loving owners passed away and the other (who was also in failing health) didn’t remember to call us for help. Fast forward to today and he is living out his senior years in an equally loving foster home in sanctuary.

What is sanctuary? It means Tara’s House supports the foster family with financial assistance for things like vet care and special needs for the rest of a dog’s life. We still need fosters to take in a dog that requires sanctuary, but in Max’s case, his pitiful shelter intake photo and wonderful temperament landed him in the perfect foster home. 🥹

“Hi Maria. This honkin hunk of male beast turned 14 this past weekend. Such a love.”

Happy birthday, big guy. And many more!

It’s official, Snowy 🤍 is now Ollie! Happy adoption day, little guy. 🎊🥳 You landed on all 4 paws after being surrendered by your first family. We are confident there’s no danger of that happening again, so happy tails to you!🤍🤍🤍

Be good, and live happily-ever-after in your new home. 🏡

Just a little Pupdate on alums Kenny (R), his bride Dora (L), and the third wheel Bandit (C). 😂

We’ve had a lot of little dogs come into the rescue lately, and although we love them, we love the medium, large and XL pups too!

Take this medium cutie. She’s mid-sized at 35 lbs, and besides her desirable packaging (come on, look at her 🤩) it’s her personality and manners that are the most attractive. “Sweet” is so overused, so we will say she is just darling. She will also Sit when asked. 🥰

Having been on the run for at least a week, Cowgirl (shelter name) is still under a stray hold so an owner can come forward and reclaim. But if that doesn’t happen, we would love to invite her to Tara’s House. We just need a foster home to do so. 🙏🏡

Can you help this little lady find her happily-ever-after by fostering her? New fosters in our adoption area of MD and the immediate surrounding areas must apply using the link in comments. Approved fosters can reach out.

🤍Snowy🤍
He’s in need of a new foster - or adopter - asap. He is a 15 mo old puppy, so he has puppy energy and can get scared of things. (Cue the side eye.) So anyone that applies must have patience for him being a puppy.

🤍Maltipoo
🤍12 lbs
🤍Neutered
🤍UTD on shots
🤍Needs a grooming, but hasn’t been settled long enough to get one.
🤍Cat friendly
🤍No kids under 10

New fosters or adopters must apply (link in comments) and must be in our adoption area of MD and the immediate surrounding areas.

Our other adoptable dogs are shown on tarashouse.org.

JIGGY & JOE wish you a happy Sunday!

Bonded, these gents are perfectly content with just a morning and evening walk if they get lots of cuddles in between. 🥰 They are really the sweetest things, and are easy peasey dogs to love.

They just come as a package deal, which is why they are taking longer to find their furever people. Luckily, they are welcome to snuggle and cuddle in the foster home for as long as it takes, because they are perfect little gents! 💎💎

If you love Yorkies, their full bio is at tarashouse.org and a link to apply can be found in the comments.

Who else woke up, felt the chill in the air, and pulled the covers back up? 🥶 MEATBALL (Gadget) certainly isn’t a fan of the chilly weather, so lucky for him he has a puppy pile to stay warm in.

🐾He has been here long enough
🐾He is young (~1 yr)
🐾He is funny
🐾He identifies as a yo-yo and will run out and check something out then come right back
🐾He gets excited and will bowl over the very young or very old. He’s built like a brick.

Adopt Meatball!
Full bio can be found at tarashouse.org and if you live in our adoption area of MD and the immediate surrounding areas you can apply using the link in comments.
