We are excited to have Jacey Sealy from Fort McCavett join us at YRW2 this summer! Menard County SWCD sends great people to YRW and YRW2!
We’re proud to announce that Garrison Johnson and Jacey Sealy represented Texas at the 2026 International High School Youth Forum in Monterey, California (Feb 8–12). These students earned their spots through outstanding performance at YRW 2025, then worked hard to write and present research papers in the 6–8 minute contest. The students took an ecological tour at Santa Lucia Preserve, attended undergraduate contests and the Ranchers Forum, explored the meeting trade show and networked with rangeland professionals, participated in the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists discussion, and gained real-world experience presenting research and answering tough questions.
Huge congratulations to Garrison and Jacey for their dedication, poise, and the leadership they showed on the national stage.
