We’ve been asked many times over the years for early access to the greenhouse plant sale and we didn’t have a fair way to make it happen.

This year - we are selling only 10 tickets that are first come, first serve. They are $10 for the early access. However, there are rules:

1. It is one day only - Thursday, April 23rd from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. If you can’t make it at that time, DON’T buy the ticket!

2. The ticket holder is the ONLY person allowed to come to the greenhouse - so don’t bring family members to shop with you, nor their orders.

THERE IS NOT A PHYSICAL TICKET. We will have a list of names.

3. The $10 will NOT be apart to your order total as a credit.

If you have any questions please email Mrs. Fenner for answers during school hours.

Day 3 - Farm Management made an early trip to compete and received a Silver team rating with Brooklyn Trautman earning an individual Gold Rating. FFA members attended the career show, then all but State Degree recipients headed home.

Joanna Rhea was honored by being chosen as the sole recipient of the Fletcher Memorial Scholarship from the Missouri FFA Foundation during the final session of the State Convention.

Finally the three State FFA Degree recipients (Joanna, Ashtyn Johnson, and Brooklyn Trautman) walked across the stage to receive their golden charms of the State FFA Degree.

Today’s plant spotlight is the Tuber Begonia. This plant thrives in Partial to Full shade, and prefers bright indirect sunlight. The Begonia does not like the intense direct sunlight of the the late afternoon so put it on a shady porch to prevent scorching of the leaves and enjoy these colorful beauties!

We have multiple colors including deep red, rose, and light yellow too! $3 each next SATURDAY the 25th of April!

However, the Chapter ended up back in the Top 10 in the State Chapter Activity Award! 10th place out of over 250 FFA Chapters in the State. Congratulations Sweet Springs FFA members! You creativity, flexibility, and work paid off!
