The Friends of Father Vincent Project

The Friends of Father Vincent Project The Friends of Fr. Vincent Project is a 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to providing aid to the people of the Village of Giira and Town of Paidha in Uganda.

Vincent charity project began in 2006 and continues today to bring change to the lives of the people of the town of Paidha and Village of Giira in northwestern Uganda. The Project primarily comprises individual and personal initiatives of generous people who wish to share what and who they are, with the people of Africa. This expression of gratitude is a direct result of the missionary presence, f

riendship, and relationship with Fr. Vincent since his arrival in the US in 2003. Since its inception, The Friends of Fr. Vincent has made significant changes in the lives of the people of Paidha and Giira by sponsoring a medical mission of 9 doctors and nurses in June 2014; providing clean running water through the Gravity Flow Initiative; constructing St. Luke’s Chapel providing a permanent place of worship which replaces a grass thatched mud-walled structure with a collapsing roof. Through its Education Initiative, some individual donors have committed to assuming the responsibility of funding the education of an “adopted child” and the sponsoring of seminarians.
