Dragons LAX Dragons LAX offers 3rd–8th grade athletes the opportunity to learn, compete, and grow through the game of lacrosse.

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our own, Memphis. 💜🥍

Memphis was the kind of player every coach dreams of having on their team. She lit up the lacrosse field with her contagious smile, positive attitude, cheerful personality, dance moves, and lively singing — yes, even dancing on the lacrosse field 🥰. No matter the weather, the score, or the circumstances, Memphis always brought joy, encouragement, and energy to everyone around her.

She was uplifting, supportive, and a true team player who made an impact both on and off the field. Even on the cold, snowy, rainy days or during tough losses, she never failed to put a smile on the faces of her teammates, coaches and parents. Her infectious spirit, kindness, love for her teammates left a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to know her.

Memphis will never be forgotten, and we will always cherish the time we had with her.

To honor Memphis and show our love and support for her family, we are asking all Dragons players, families, coaches, and supporters to wear their youth lacrosse gear this Thursday.

Please continue to keep Memphis’ family, friends, teammates, and loved ones in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.

We want to be clear, this program is not going anywhere. We are still here, we are still strong, and we are just getting started. The Dragons are, and always will be, Dragon Strong. The best is yet to come, and we are far from finished. We will continue to rise, to rebuild, and to move forward together. We will always fight like Dragons with dignity, honor, and loyalty.

Calling all 3rd–8th graders (boys & girls) — come give lacrosse a try!

👉 No experience needed
👉 Beginners welcome

📍 Location: The Cage – Swartz Creek
🕠 Time: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM (Tonight!)

We’ll have some extra equipment available, so just show up and check it out!

We’ve had 2 more kids interested in signing up and we are THISCLOSE to having a full team!

If you have a 3rd or 4th grader, bring them out TONIGHT to check out lacrosse — no commitment needed. Let them try it, have some fun, and see if they like it before signing up.

SUPPORT SWARTZ CREEK FLUSHING HIGH SCHOOL LACROSSE TEAM + ENJOY Flint Firebirds PLAYOFF HOCKEY!

Our SCF lacrosse players are working hard to build their program and you can help support them while enjoying a great night out!

We’re selling Flint Firebirds playoff tickets for this Saturday 3/28 to raise funds for the program:

$20 per ticket
Silver level seats (held at will-call)

The last few games have been standing room only! Get your tickets now from us!

Every ticket purchased helps our players with equipment, field costs, and program needs!

🚨 LAST CALL – 10U LACROSSE (3rd & 4th Grade) 🥍

We are SO close to having a season… but we NEED a few more players!

Right now we have 5 kids. We need at least 7 to field a team (and ideally 2–3 more for subs).

👉 If your child is in 3rd or 4th grade, come try it out at practice this week!
No experience needed — just come run, learn, and see if they like it. If they do, then you can register for the season.

We even have SOME equipment available to borrow, but if your child has gear, please bring it — and bring extra if you have it!

This is truly our last push. If we can get just a couple more kids, we can make this season happen.

Program Update 🥍

Unfortunately, we will not be able to field a 10U team this season.

With only 5 players registered, we did not meet the minimum needed to safely and successfully compete. Full refunds will be issued to all 10U families.

For this season, we will be combining our 12U and 14U teams, and we’re excited to have 14–15 players currently registered and ready to go. While we truly wish we could have offered separate teams and a full 10U season, the late start this year resulted in many players committing to other programs.

That said — we are still looking forward to a great season with the group we have 💪

📣 Practice Update:
This week (Mon–Thurs), we will be practicing indoors at The Cage in Swartz Creek (on Morrish Rd, across from Meijer) from 5:30–7:00 PM.

🚫 No Practice Next Week:
No practices during Spring Break

We’re excited for lacrosse season and fully intend to have a great year — but we need more players!

Right now, our plan is to combine our 12U and 14U teams so everyone who signed up can play this season. Unless we see a big wave of registrations next week, the teams will practice and play together.

The good news is that flyers will be going out next week to all Flushing elementary schools and the middle school, so we’re hopeful that will bring in some new players.

In the meantime, we really need your help spreading the word. If you have friends, classmates, neighbors, or teammates from other sports who might want to try lacrosse, now is the perfect time to jump in!

Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports in the country and a great way for kids to build skills, confidence, and friendships.
We fully intend on having a great season and giving these kids an awesome experience — we just need a few more players to make it even better.

If your child has ever wanted to try lacrosse, now is the time!
