🇺🇸 660 FLAGS. 660 LIVES. 660 REASONS TO SHOW UP. 🇺🇸

Today, The Honor Bear Project will fill Meetinghouse Park in Pelham with American flags representing veterans lost to su***de each month.

Each flag represents more than a number. It represents a veteran, a family, friends, brothers and sisters in arms, and a life that mattered. ❤️🤍💙

Walking With Honor is proud to help spread the word about this powerful display and the mission behind it. Veteran su***de awareness cannot end with statistics—we have to continue showing up, checking in, starting conversations, and reminding our veterans that their story is not over and they do not have to fight alone.

🎉🐾 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FAITH! 🐾🎉

Today, we get to celebrate the woman behind so much of what Walking With Honor has become.

Faith isn't just our Founder & Executive Director. She's the heart, determination, and occasionally the chaos 😂 behind a mission that continues to change lives.

She is a veteran who continues to serve her community long after taking off the uniform. She's the person who will answer the phone when someone needs help, fight like hell for a veteran who needs someone in their corner, lose sleep worrying about a dog, and somehow still find a way to make everyone around her laugh.

Walking With Honor started with a belief that veterans deserve more than a service dog — they deserve a community that reminds them they don't have to walk through life alone.

Faith helped turn that belief into a reality.

Faith, you've built more than an organization. You've helped build a family, a community, and a place where both veterans and rescue dogs can find purpose, connection, and a new beginning.

We're incredibly lucky to have you leading this crazy WWH family.

🐾 HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY! 🐾

Around here, every day feels a little bit like National Dog Day. ❤️🐶

At Walking With Honor, dogs are at the heart of everything we do. They make us laugh, test our patience, cover us in fur, steal our spots on the couch, and somehow always know when we need them most.

But for the dogs in our program, their journey means even more.

These incredible dogs are given a second chance and, in turn, are learning how to change the lives of veterans. Through training, trust, patience, and one heck of a lot of treats, they are becoming partners, teammates, and best friends. 🇺🇸🐾

Today, we're celebrating ALL the dogs — our program dogs, our ambassador girl Nia, the rescue dogs still waiting for their people, and every four-legged family member who makes life just a little better.

Give your dog an extra treat, belly rub, adventure, or cuddle today. They deserve it. ❤️

🐾 September is officially Service Dog Awareness Month in New Hampshire! 🇺🇸🐕‍🦺

Walking With Honor was incredibly honored to join fellow service dog organizations at the New Hampshire State House as Governor Kelly Ayotte presented a proclamation officially recognizing September as Service Dog Awareness Month in New Hampshire!

We are thankful to Service Dogs NH for inviting us to this incredible day and for all their work in getting service dogs the recognition they deserve.

Service dogs do so much more than perform tasks. They provide independence, confidence, safety, and freedom to the individuals who rely on them every single day.

For Walking With Honor, next month is another opportunity to educate our communities about the incredible work these dogs do, the importance of proper service dog etiquette, and the life-changing partnerships between service dogs and their handlers.

We are grateful to Governor Ayotte and the State of New Hampshire for recognizing the importance of service dogs and the organizations working every day to support these incredible teams. 💚

Here’s to a September filled with awareness, education, advocacy, and plenty of service dog love! 🐾
