Cold and snowy day for Wreaths Across America . It is always a good feeling placing the Wreaths each year. More pictures to get. This year we helped sponsor 3 cemeteries. Sutton Cemetery, Saronville United Methodist Cemetery and Sutton Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Our Veterans deserve the best past and present.

As a reminder we are still taking donations for our Wreaths Across America project. A wreath will be hung next to all the Veterans at the Sutton Cemetery, Catholic Cemetery and Methodist Cemetery.

Orders have to be in by November 25th. We have a ways to go to cover the cost of ALL the Wreaths. This is a great way to celebrate our Veterans during Christmas. Most do not have any relatives around any more.

We had a great afternoon at the Sutton Home giving out treats to sutton public school kids in grades Kindergarten thru third grade. Each class did a parade for all the residents showing off their awesome Halloween costumes. The residents loved it.

Our long time friend and Auxiliary Member Donna Bauer turns 100 today. So amazing.

A few auxiliary members got together and presented Dona with her 75 year membership certificate to celebrate her long term membership as part of her 100th birthday.

Donna is the last surviving member of the "Trio" who sang at many American Legion Auxiliary competitions starting in 1965. Members included in the "Trio" were Shirley Syring, Kay (Wach) Batt and Donna Bauer.

All 3 singers were/are members of the Sutton American Legion Auxiliary Unit #61.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DONNA. 🎂
