As the school year comes to a close, the Nuckolls County Food Pantry is preparing to support families throughout the summer months—when many children no longer have access to school meals. We are asking for the following items:
- Peanut Butter
- Any Fresh Produce
- Packaged Hot Dogs
- Pre-Packaged Cold-Cut Sandwich Meat

Other food donations or monetary donations are always welcome and appreciated.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Ideal Market for donating 80 bags of ready-to-cook meals through their Neighbors Feeding Neighbors program to the Nuckolls County Food Pantry!

Additionally, we thank Judy Schroer and Lawrence-Nelson Public Schools for organizing students from the National Honor Society to fill the bags for us.

The Superior Cub Scouts and Superior Girl Scouts deserve our sincerest thanks for their food collection initiative, which will benefit the Nuckolls County Food Pantry. We are continually impressed by our community’s dedication to giving back. In the coming days, we will focus on organizing and stocking the donated food on our shelves.

During the month of October, 48 families (119 individuals) came through our door utilizing our local food pantry.
