My heart is full. ❤️

S**C Rocks! We definitely had a time and a vibe at our end-of-year brunch! I am truly grateful for the thoughtful gifts, kind words, and heartfelt expressions of appreciation from this incredible committee. Missing a few of the crew today but they always showed up for service!

The laughter, the chatter, and afternoon together was time well spent! It was the perfect way to celebrate an amazing journey of service, advocacy, leadership, learning, and friendship.

It has been an honor to serve and lead alongside such remarkable women. Thank you for your unwavering support, encouragement, generosity, and partnership throughout my years as Vice Chair and Chair.

The memories we've created and the impact we've made together will always hold a special place in my heart. Keep building on the impactful 55-year legacy that continues to turn awareness into action! ❤️✨

As we close out an extraordinary year, this weekend's participation in the World Cup ACT Initiative was the perfect way to bring our work full circle.

Throughout the year, S**C and the Junior Leagues of New Jersey have focused on raising awareness around human trafficking, safety, and preparedness in advance of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. From educational programming and legislative engagement to community partnerships and our statewide Kits of Care initiative, we have worked to turn awareness into action.

This weekend, S**C volunteers proudly joined the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking's World Cup ACT event. We attended educational sessions featuring leaders from the Attorney General's Office and powerful survivor voices, participated in SOAP training led by founder Theresa Flores, and distributed awareness materials, missing children posters, and resources to local hotels to help identify and prevent trafficking.

A special thank you to Denise, Claire, Leslie, Renee, Amisha, Cindy and all the volunteers who represented S**C with passion and purpose. Your commitment demonstrates the power of advocacy in action.

Perhaps most inspiring was witnessing the enduring legacy of Junior League leadership. Former S**C Chairs Sue Flynn and Kate Lee, founding leaders of the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking, remind us that meaningful change happens when dedicated volunteers choose to lead, educate, and serve.

Shout out to all of you incredible ladies as you led a trailblazing and impactful day of community activism. Thank you and BRAVA!

This weekend was a powerful reminder that S**C's nearly 55-year legacy of advocacy continues to make a difference across New Jersey. Together, we are building safer, stronger communities for women, children, and families.

S**C proudly partnered in the recent PSA launched by Senator Bucco to raise awareness about human trafficking ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup coming to New Jersey. This effort aligned with our statewide Kits of Care initiative supporting Covenant House New Jersey and helping provide essential hygiene items to vulnerable youth and human trafficking survivors.

As New Jersey’s designated agency supporting human trafficking victims and survivors, Covenant House New Jersey provides critical 24/7 crisis response and housing support, and we were honored to partner with them on this impactful initiative.

Thank you to Covenant House, our legislative leaders, volunteers, and community partners as S**C continues building on its 55-year legacy of advocacy, service, and community impact across New Jersey.

For over 55 years, S**C has been at the forefront of advocacy in New Jersey—helping shape public policy that protects and strengthens our communities. From advancing child safety helmet laws and EpiPen access in schools, to supporting women’s health protections and anti-stalking legislation, S**C has long worked to improve the lives of women, children, and families across our state. S**C is the legislative voice of the Junior League.

Our work to advocate for legislation against human trafficking continues!

Human trafficking is a horrific crime, and major international events like the upcoming World Cup can create opportunities for traffickers to exploit vulnerable individuals.

That’s why I launched a new PSA to raise awareness and introduced a three-bill package to strengthen New Jersey’s anti-human trafficking laws, close loopholes, and better support survivors.

New Jersey is sending a clear message: traffickers will not succeed here. Thank you to our law enforcement leaders and community advocates standing together in this fight.

✨ 8 NJ Leagues. One Mission. Collective Impact. ✨
What an incredible and impactful day of service as the State Public Affairs Committee (S**C) of the Junior Leagues of New Jersey hosted our statewide Kits of Care Capstone Event! 💙

Together, volunteers and members from all eight Junior Leagues across New Jersey came together in partnership, compassion, and purpose to assemble kits supporting vulnerable communities while raising awareness around human trafficking in advance of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

A special thank you to the office of Andrew Macurdy, LD21, for supporting this important initiative and recognizing the power of community collaboration. We also extend our gratitude to Zarida Brokenborough of Covenant House as we assembled Kits of Care to support their outreach efforts. And a heartfelt thank you to New Providence United Methodist Church for graciously hosting us.

Most importantly, thank you to every volunteer and League member, and supporter who showed up to serve. Your passion, energy, and commitment demonstrated exactly what is possible when we unite around a shared mission.
