Last night we gathered for our first women’s event, and together we created prayer journals. But before we ever brought our requests, our first focus was Christ—our Lord—and who He is. Because it all begins there.

We come carrying many things to the Lord, but when our eyes are fixed on who He is, and who we are in Him, we come before Him with boldness, humility, love, and with all that we are in Him and the strugges & lies of what we battle when we are outside of Him. Our posture shifts. Our hearts are rightly aligned.

As we transitioned into prayer, the Lord showed me something clearly: though we carry many requests for others, our own fields must first be tended by the hand of the greatest Gardener.

“That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies
Might serve him without fear,
In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.”
— Luke 1:74–75 (KJV)

The Lord has already granted us deliverance from the hand of our enemies. But the question is—do we live and serve Him without fear? Or do we stand in His presence still bound by fear, anxiety, depression, and all the tactics and strongholds of the enemy?

Scripture tells us that we are delivered so that we “might” serve Him without fear—standing before Him in holiness and righteousness. And this is not momentary. This is for all the days of our life.

We don’t simply pray a prayer and remain unchanged. Serving God while still gripped by fear is not the fullness He intends for us. In the presence of our Lord, there is no fear. There is no condemnation. There is transformation.

As we sit in His presence, we are invited to holiness and righteousness—not by our own striving, but by abiding in Him. We work out our salvation, allowing Him to shape us, refine us, and restore us. We do not remain unchanged. We remain in Him—in every circumstance, in every situation.

And there, we sit and bask in His love. We experience His power. We encounter the one and only true God.
