What a wonderful way to kick off our new Girl Scout year! Troop 3488 had a **successful first meeting filled with smiles, laughter, learning, and sisterhood!** 🌼🍪✨

Our Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes came together ready to make new friends, share their ideas, set goals, and begin another year of unforgettable Girl Scout adventures. We are excited to create a space where every girl feels encouraged to **use her voice, try new things, build confidence, lead with kindness, and DREAM BIG!💪🏽💚

This year is about so much more than earning badges. It’s about building friendships, developing leadership skills, serving our community, discovering new interests, and creating memories that our girls will carry with them for years to come.

Even though the rain decided to join us for our special day, it didn't stop our Girl Scouts! ☔️💪🏽 Instead, our girls showed us what it truly means to be **flexible, resilient, and ready for whatever adventure comes their way.** They adjusted, kept smiling, and continued celebrating this very special milestone together! 💚

Troop 3488 was back for another SWEET Ice Cream Social! 🎉🍨

This year, we were excited to watch old friends reconnect and new friends become part of the Girl Scout family! 👭💚

We spent the day at Bear Bluff Farm in Conway for the Girl Scouts Saddle Up Horse Camp, where we met some scouts and got a look at the patches they can earn through hands-on horsemanship.

Troop 3488 is excited to welcome new leadership to support our youngest scouts! We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Daisy Leader to guide our Daisy Scouts as they begin their scouting adventures.

As a Daisy Leader, you will have the rewarding opportunity to inspire, mentor, and nurture young girls in exploring new skills, building confidence, and creating lasting friendships. Your leadership will be key in helping the Daisy Scouts develop a strong foundation in scouting values and fun experiences.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and lead age-appropriate Daisy troop meetings and activities that are engaging, interactive, and fun.
• Guide girls as they earn Daisy petals, badges, and participate in leadership journeys.
• Introduce and reinforce the values of the Girl Scout Promise and Law through meaningful experiences.
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where every girl feels valued, respected, and encouraged to participate.
• Supervise girls during troop meetings, field trips, outdoor activities, and community service projects, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding Daisy badge activities.
• Complete all required Girl Scout volunteer training, background screening, and safety requirements.

Qualifications
• Enjoy working with young children and fostering their growth and development.
• Patient, enthusiastic, creative, and organized.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to create positive, age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Commitment to the Girl Scout Promise, Girl Scout Law, and Safety Activity Checkpoints.
