We are a grass roots organization started by people with family, friends or neighbors with a life-threatening disease. We realized not everyone who is fighting for his or her life has the time, energy and resources to take a break to have some fun. We also noticed while there are many resources for children who are battling a life-threatening disease, there are few for the adult in the same situat

ion. We have no paid staff and our operations are governed by a Board of Directors made up entirely of volunteers.
