Friends of Summerville Orchestra We support the Summerville Orchestra. Our new webpage is friends-of-the-summerville-orchestra We will start back up doing event fundraisers for them.

We are fortunate in Summerville to have the fantastic Summerville Orchestra. We need VOLUNTEERS. We have Board openings. URGENT NOTICE: Animals Without Proper Shelter Are At Risk.

Our animals trust us to care for them.

We understand the breeds that are built for cold, wind, and snow, but not all animals are built for that.

The smaller the Animal, the younger the Animal, the less fluffy coated. Animals are all at a higher risk of hypothermia.

If you are aware of an animal that is exposed to the elements without adequate shelter, please report the situation immediately.

The laws state there must be shelter, water, and food available at all times.

Laws have changed for the amount of time that an animal can be tethered. Please check your state laws and be an animal advocate before it’s too late.

Our animal control officers, shelters, and rescue organizations are overwhelmed with urgent calls when preventative measures are no longer possible.

We all speak for those who cannot speak for themselves and it is crucial that you act as their advocate by reporting any instances of neglect or distress. Do your part. You are their voice.
