At our facility in Summerland Key, Plant a Million Corals has 11 different species that we are incorporating into our micro fragmentation program. This month we are highlighting the Mountainous Star Coral, Orbicella faveolata. This beauty can be found in the Florida Keys, as well as the Bahamas, Caribbean, and Gulf of Mexico.

We’re honored to share that our partner .trees has been recognized with a Gold Halo Award for Best Sustainability or Conservation Initiative by Engage for Good - one of the highest honors in corporate–nonprofit partnerships.

This work is driven through our partnership with and , advancing ocean restoration by combining community-led action with cutting-edge technology to restore coral reefs and better understand ecosystem recovery.

Plant a Million Corals is proud to be one of the "boots on ground" organizations using the Samsung Ocean Mode to document growth of our corals in our land-based nursery, and will be using them to monitor corals that have been funded by this partnership!
