What do we put in a food box? We try to do at least 2 breakfast meals, 2 dinners and 2 lunches with some snacks. All the veggies and some fruits.

Quick disclaimer: if you hear yelling in the background, that’s my autistic
son. He’s perfectly fine just being himself while I put together food boxes. ❤️

📢‼️‼️Important Update for Saturday’s Free Market‼️‼️📢

Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the gymnasium is currently not working. We understand that high temperatures can be especially difficult for individuals with health conditions, heat sensitivity, young children, and older adults, and we want everyone to be aware before attending.

For anyone who needs a cooler space, we will have a smaller room available with air conditioning, and we will have items set up there as well.

We encourage everyone to stay hydrated, dress for the weather, and take breaks as needed. Your health and safety are important to us, and we will do our best to make the event as comfortable as possible.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you Saturday. ❤️🖤💙

I made 50 period kits for the free market Saturday. Wanted to make at least 75 but we work with what we have. Tomorrow night the hygiene kits will be put together.

“Not all donated items are brought to the monthly market. Some donations are set aside for meal kits, hygiene kits, period kits, emergency requests, and future distributions. Because we do not have a permanent building, many donations are temporarily stored until they can be sorted, organized, and distributed. If an item is donated to help our neighbors, it will be used to help our neighbors.”
