Your local VFW Post 8560 and Auxiliary to VFW Post 8560 is deeply saddened by the unexpected loss of one of our members. Tomorrow is the day we lay one of our beloved members, Lavanna Eppars to rest. Lavanna was one of sweetest people to know and be around.. Lavanna took pride serving Veterans, volunteering anyway she could. Every event hosted by your local VFW Post 8560, she was there supporting. I know people say "to know someone was an honor" however, to actually know Lavanna was an honor, and will definitely be missed. Prayers for her sons, family and friends.

March 21, 1959 ~ July 29, 2026 (age 67) Lavanna Beth Eppars of Sulphur Springs, Texas passed away on July 29, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.
