This event is a moment for little girls to feel seen, loved, and confident in who they are.

In a world that can be so loud and confusing, we are creating a space filled with
🤍love
🤍encouragement
🤍confidence
🤍and the truth of who they are through Jesus

Every girl that walks through this me doors will be reminded that she is chosen, beautiful, and worthy.

This event is so much more than dressing up and having tea… it’s about creating a space where every girl feels confident, deeply loved, and truly seems.

It’s about reminding them that they are beautiful just as they are. Through a day of connection, encouragement, and joy, we pour into them in way that last far beyond the event itself.

Tonight, as we reflect on Easter, we’re reminded that the resurrection of Jesus is the greatest act of love. One that brings hope, healing, and new life.

Two weeks ago, because of that love, Hiraeth & Hope delivered 130 Easter baskets to DCS for the children in foster care across Sullivan County. Each one was more than a basket to us, we wanted them to be reminded that they are valued and deeply loved.

That’s what Easter means to us. To every child who received a basket, we pray they felt joy, hope, and the love of Jesus🤍

We are so excited to introduce Crystal Flath as a new member of our board!

Crystal Flath is a life-long resident of Sullivan. Born and raised in the community, she was graduated from Sullivan High School in 1991 and Indiana State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Latin teaching and in 2024 with a linguistics certification. She returned to her alma mater and has been a faculty member through Southwest School Corporation since Fall 1995 and a Beta Club sponsor at Sullivan High School and Sullivan Middle School. This proud wife, mother, and grandmother is an independent beauty consultant with Mary Kay. She also is a very active member at Crossroads Community Church in Sullivan, serving on the worship, children's church, and missions teams.

Crystal has joined Hiraeth & Hope as she felt the Lord moving her to serve His Kingdom and the Sullivan community in a manner she has never done before. She is encouraged and inspired by the hearts and compassion of the young women who make up the Hiraeth and Hope organization, and is motivated to partner with them to make a difference in the lives of others (Matt. 25:31-46).

We are thrilled to introduce our new Secretary, Carmen Page!!

“I’m Carmen Page and I’m excited to be apart of Hiraeth and Hope. I’m happy to be apart of an organization where I’m able to help make a difference in the lives of girls that are in foster care. My goal is to bring more awareness to children in foster care so that they can feel loved, heard, and seen.”
