A snapshot from our iftars at displacement shelters around Sudan, serving the underprivileged war victims. Today (Saturday Ramadan 25) could be the last day for the Iftar campaign as the donations have dried up. Ramadan 2026- progress report through the 19th

- 75 Ramadan Baskets feeding 75 families or about 600 individuals for two weeks
- About $2,500 supporting daily Iftars in displacement shelters for thousands in Alfashir, Atbara, Port Sudan, Costi, Almanagil, Sinnar, Abu Hamad, Aldamer, Omdurman, and other Sudanese cities and villages.
- Fidya/Kaffara feeding at least 90 individuals to make up for missed days of fasting

Thanks to the efforts of our volunteers and the generosity of our donors and partners globally, GAPS has sponsored tens of community iftars across several Sudanese cities serving hundreds of displaced families in the war-torn country for about $2,500 donated during through the 19th of Ramadan.
