Want to know how to donate to help Full Plate Project???

Here are some if the ways.
We use Zeffy for recurring or single donations. I will add the link here. It’s easy but it asks to add a tip. You can change that to any number you’d like including zero.

Here’s an easy way to help…

Help Full Plate Project while shopping at Kroger. In your Kroger app go to your account and select Payments & Resources, then Community Rewards. Select your charity, Full Plate Project. It’s a small way to support food insecurity.
And it’s super easy!!

Ok y’all. Full Plates has a lot going on these next couple of months

Besides having pop ups every Saturday, we also fill 11 pantries weekly.
In order to do that we have to have funds.
So… there are fund raisers.

If you are interested in committing to a monthly donation in any amount… we have that option.

Starting Tuesday the 26th we are participating in Belk’s Charity Event.
We have tickets/coupons for sale for $5.
You get 25% off your purchase and Belk is giving you the $5 back.
You can use more than one coupon but only 1 per transaction. There is no role that says you can’t have 3 orders and 3 coupons.
This fundraiser runs from 5/26 to 6/7.
Any coupon purchased can be used during that time. (You don’t have to buy it the same day you shop… You just have to but it from us)

Tuesday, June 2 from 4-8pm, is another awesome fundraiser.
IL Paesano’s (formerly Sal’s beside Food Lion across from Obici)
A portion of your purchase will be donated to Full Plate Project if you mention you’re participating in the event.
Dine in, carry out, or call in and pick up only. No door dash etc.
Come on in and get a pizza!!!
Dining for dollars.

We’re having a cocktail party at Lake Prince Woods June 20. More to come on that.

Ashley Clark Is going to run 30 miles… yes THIRTY MILES in November. She needs sponsorship. Sponsorship Tickets for that are $5 each and will be donated to Full Plate Project too.
30 miles y’all.

There are a group of young ladies, lead by Brianna Smith, that want to have a 5k at the end of the summer.

Proceeds will also benefit Full Plates

If you are interested in running 30 miles with Ashley or 5k with Brianna, please let me know and I’ll send the info.

If you have a business that would like to sponsor either of these efforts, your sponsorship is tax deductible.

This project is growing and growing. Helping more people every week. We need your help, whatever that looks like.

Today was a great day!!!

First… we are incredibly thankful for such an amazing, warm, sunny, perfect day.

So happy that Pastor Seth asked us to participate with Providence United Methodist Church - Suffolk, VA in Do Something Good For Your Neighbor Day

Thank you Jennifer from Cruisin' To Help The Homeless for educating the people and potentially saving lives.

Windsor Lions Club Of Virginia I’m so happy that y’all came. Thank you for the glasses and sunglasses. Looking forward to the next outing together and a day in Walters.

Susan Burt besides all the wonderful things you help us with… thank you for the super cute cookies.

El Rodeo Windsor thanks for being so generous with the gift cards. I only ever heard great things about your restaurant.

The Rusted Root oh my goodness ladies. The breakfast treats were so very nice. There were zero left. Not even a single crumb. Thank you so much for your support.

Thank you Boy Scout Troop 73 for the donation and for loaning us Joshua Hughes. We really enjoyed his company and many neighbors were blessed because he helped them To their cars. And I appreciate his help cleaning up and bringing all the things to my truck.

Kings Fork Woman's Club I’m so happy y’all came. Thank you for baking ask of those wonderful treats and for coming to be a blessing.

El Mexa thank you for giving the gift cards. I think there were lots of happy shoppers because of them.

Suffolk Police Department thanks to the officers who came to hang out with us. There was a super happy little boy who got to hang out with y’all for a minute.

Many more, at the shelter and on the street, were offered fried chicken and premade sandwiches and dinners.

I feel like we reached at least 300 today.
AND THAT IS FANTASTIC!!!

Robin Dyksterhouse we appreciate you for everything you do. Today all the fresh fruits and veggies were such a blessing. Thank you. 💕

Carol Holmes, Nelson and Betty… you guys are an amazing team. The time you spend working so hard to coordinate, gather, collect and promote this project are outstanding. We could not do this without y’all. Nelson’s gift of salesmanship is one reason we are able to receive large donations. Carol I think you are the calm in our storm. Always paying attention to details that mean so much. Your face is the one people see First on Saturdays. Our neighbors love you almost as much as I do.
