We are incredibly grateful to the Derrell Merrill memorial fund for awarding a grant to our Sturgis Youth Football Program! Your generosity means so much to our athletes, families, and community.

This support will make a HUGE impact on our upcoming season — helping us provide safer equipment, better resources, and more opportunities for our players to grow both on and off the field.

❤️ We’re honored to share that the Derrell Merrill Memorial Fund has awarded its very first grant in memory of Derrell Merrill. This grant will support the Sturgis Youth Football program by funding bleachers, uniforms, field paint for games and practices, and overall program needs.

This inaugural gift is a meaningful tribute to Derrell’s legacy, a man who poured countless hours into uplifting youth sports in our community.❤️

🏈 Football Equipment Turn-In Reminder! 🏈

Please turn in all football equipment this Tuesday from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the shed (Franks field). Make sure helmets, pads, and jerseys are clean and ready to go!

We are also accepting any and all donations for next season — things like cleats, pants, socks, or other gently used gear are always appreciated and help support future players! 🖤🧡

🧡🖤 What a game… our Sturgis Upper Black boys left absolutely everything on that field today. The championship game went into overtime, and though we didn’t come out on top, the heart, grit, and soul these boys played with was nothing short of incredible. 🏈

Every single one of them gave it their all — they fought until the very end, and that’s something to be so proud of. It was one of those games that reminded us all what youth football is truly about — teamwork, growth, passion, and heart.

Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer, support, and believe in these athletes. You made today unforgettable — a day Sturgis Youth Football will never forget. 💪

Hold your heads high, boys — you are champions in every way that matters. 🧡🖤

It’s Homecoming Parade Day for Sturgis Football & Cheer! 🧡🖤

📍 Meet Time: 4:30 PM
📍 Parade Starts: 5:00 PM
📍 Meeting Location: Gravel lot behind the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce (highlighted in yellow on the map).
🚨 Important Reminders:

NO DROP-OFFS — Parents must stay for the parade!
Please park behind the shops off Clay Street and walk kids to the staging area.
Do NOT park in Century Bank, Chamber, or Depot lots.

Football players: wear game jersey’s and pick players up at the gate after the parade.

Cheerleaders: wear uniform & pink bows — those cheering first quarter get in free! 🎀

Pick up cheerleaders after the first quarter at the gate.
Bring a bag of candy if you’d like to help pass out treats! 🍬
Families — wear black and orange to show your Sturgis pride! 🖤🧡
