Mentor of the Month: Chad Miller 🇺🇸 🔱
This May, we are honored to recognize Chad Miller as Operation 300’s Mentor of the Month. Chad has faithfully stepped into the lives of our Gold Star and White Star children with humility, joy, and a servant’s heart that reflects the very mission of Operation 300.
Whether he’s mentoring campers, encouraging other volunteers, or simply showing up with consistency and compassion, Chad reminds us how powerful it is when men choose to invest in the next generation. His heart for service and dedication to these children have made a lasting impact on so many families we serve. 🇺🇸
For Chad, serving with Operation 300 is rooted deeply in his faith.
🗣 “My amazing mom taught me a long time ago that to serve God is to serve others. The best way to help yourself and see personal growth is to serve others.”
🗣 “‘For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters… use your freedom to serve one another in love.’ — Galatians 5:13”
What Chad loves most about Op300 is the connection built with the campers and the joy shared throughout camp weekends.
🗣 “The added bonus with Op300 is these kids are amazing, hilarious, and we have a great time during camp. Sure it’s a commitment, but these kids most certainly deserve our dedication to the program.”
Though Chad never served in the military himself, he sees mentoring as his way of honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
🗣 “I never served in the armed forces, so I see this as a small way to give back to the men who died for my freedom by taking some time away from my family to help theirs. I truly see Op300 as a way to serve our great nation.”
Chad, thank you for your faithfulness, your heart to serve, and the example you set for others. Men like you are helping shape lives, strengthen families, and carry forward the legacy of our fallen heroes.
And as Chad said best—"We need more men willing to step up and serve!"
