Fruit Trees for Free grows and provides fruit trees to families, individuals and wildlife. Each adopted tree comes with simple care instructions and a link to live support for their growing needs. The benefits of fruit trees will improve future air quality and climate resilience through the supportive mitigation of CO2 emissions; shade our homes cooler, and secure a sustainable food source for fut

ure communities and neighboring wildlife. As well, their root systems will reduce land erosion and filter streams, rivers and lakes. A tree’s tranquility improves mood, reduces stress and can calm traffic. And as a transitional living memorial, a tree can provide comfort to loved ones. Fruit Trees for Free is a 501c3 non-profit of volunteers that rely solely on donor support to maintain supplies of organic fertilizers, pots, soil and misc., and soon to be able to offer zone-appropriate postal shipments to all US families.

Free Avocado trees for the Summer of 2026
This coming Saturday June 13, 2026 at 11:00 (weather permitting) we will be passing out (62) free Avocado trees to add to your food forest. Come find us pulling the green wagon at the Fort Pierce Farmer's market for your fruit tree to keep or pay-it-forward.

Healthy trees produce healthy seeds that we harvest and grow into free fruit trees for you, your families, community gardens and wildlife preserves.

After Florida’s record breaking 3 day freeze, now extreme drought and hazardous fire conditions, we are in urgent need of professional services to revitalize these stressed trees back to being healthy seeds producers.

You can help rescue these parent trees by donating today. Your donation will go towards these needed services of $35 to replace one of the four young trees, $60 will prune one of the 11 trees, $65 will afford one of many hours of labor services for brush removal and mulching, $75 will afford one hour of treatment by a licensed Arborist for disease management and $200 will provide one truck delivery of preventative watering.
