Jerusalem Marketplace VBS

June 20-24

6:30PM – 8:30PM

FOR AGES 4YRS THROUGH 5TH GRADE
Imagine what it was like to live and work in the bustling city of Jerusalem at the time of Jesus. You would hear chatter about this puzzling prophet as you talked with shopkeepers. You might work with people who had met Jesus, heard his teachings, or witnessed an actual miracle. Jerusalem Marketplace immerses learners in Bible-times culture, helping kids explore what it might have been like to live when Jesus did. "Tribes" will experience new traditions, play games from ancient times, try new arts and crafts projects...and discover that Jesus chose the cross because of his unfailing love for each of us.

1. Second Saturday Event - Broom Ball - Sat 11/13 6pm-7:30pm
Like hockey except with brooms and a ball.

2. Thanksgiving Meal Wednesday 6:30pm-8pm
We will be going to the gym and we are going to have a Thanksgiving Meal for age 18 years and younger. We will be providing the Turkey and Ham. If you are available to contribute a side, that would be great. We are going to have one really long table and we hope to see you there.

3. Baptism - November 21 after the 11am service.
There will be a class for adults on Saturday Nov 20 at 1pm. If your child is interested in being baptized please contact Pastor Scott.
