⭐️ Yesterday was the Ohio QSO Party. For this radio contest, stations around the world try to contact as many Ohio stations as possible, specifically a station from every single Ohio County! Although band conditions were not great due to the storms last night, it was a fun time on both CW and Voice. 📻 ⛈️

🚘 🌟 Struthers ROAR - Regional Operators of Amateur Radio members assisted East Palestine Amateur Radio Club - W8GMM today at the Wheels of the Valley event in downtown East Palestine. It was a fantastic event! We assisted with Net Control, Staging the cars, motorcycles, semi-trucks, Jeeps and a few food trucks/vendors. Thank you to the East Palestine Amateur Radio Club for asking us to assist, it is always wonderful when amateur radio clubs can collaborate and help each other out. Thanks to the Struthers ROAR members who made it out today. Great teamwork! 🛻 🏍️ 🚙 🚗

📻 Saturday was the North American QSO Party “NAQP” - a 12 hour amateur radio contest across North America. The goal is to make as many contacts with other radio stations as possible. And yes, there was a kitten involved 🐱 🐈 Proof that anyone is welcome to operate with us! 🐾 Next up is the Ohio QSO party next weekend Saturday August 22nd.
