Stromsburg Legacy Fund

Stromsburg Legacy Fund Working to increase charitable giving to address emerging needs in our community. Your gift is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

The Stromsburg Legacy Fund opened in January 2024 and is dedicated to progress and long-term prosperity. A volunteer Fund Advisory Committee works actively to increase charitable giving and award grants to local worthy causes and projects that are addressing emerging needs and future opportunities in our community. The Stromsburg Legacy Fund is an affiliated fund of Nebraska Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) corporation.

Yesterday’s Meet & Greet with the Stromsburg Legacy Fund was a wonderful success! We loved connecting with community members, sharing updates about the Fund, and hearing your hopes for Stromsburg’s future.

Thank you to Bob Berggren for opening the doors to “the old high school” so community members could see the renovations you and Russ Cleland have been working so hard on and reminisce about their time there. It is such a neat space!

Thank you to Just Like Grandma's for the delicious food and Joe Cockson Music for the great tunes!

Thank you to the Nebraska Community Foundation for a matching grant to help us host this event, and Affiliated Fund Development Coordinator, Elizabeth Troyer-Miller, for your presence and support as we built a strong foundation for our committee.

Finally, thank YOU to those of you who like, shared, or commented on Facebook, and who showed up to tour the school or talk with us at the Meet & Greet. Your support helps us invest in projects that strengthen our town, support local families, and create opportunities for generations to come.
