Congratulations to Jana on being selected as the 26-27 District 11 4-H Public Relations Officer and earning a spot on the District 11 4-H council yesterday at Leadership Lab! 🎉🍀 She completed an interview, gave a speech, and her peers who served as voting delegates also voted. Great job!

Jana and CJ got to attend Leadership Lab at Splashway in Sheridan the last couple of days to sharpen their leadership skills, bring new ideas back to DeWitt County 4-H, do some community service, and take part in district officer elections. We are so proud!

Our office would like to recognize and congratulate TWO very special people to DeWitt County. Last week at the Texas 4-H Salute to Excellence Banquet at Texas 4-H State Roundup, Pam Ficklen was awarded the 2026 Commendable Service Award and Debbie Roeder was awarded the 2026 Salute to Excellence Award for District 11.
We can’t say thank you enough to the leadership and support that both women have given to DeWitt County 4-H.
Pam was one of two AgriLife support staff recognized in the entire state. Debbie was one of two 4-H adult volunteers recognized from District 11. What an accomplishment!!🍀🎉

Congratulations to Dakota! She competed in her first D11 4-H Horse Show at the end of May and was 4th place in barrels, 3rd place in poles, and 1st place in stakes. With those placings she earned Overall Reserve Champion Junior for speed events. Go Dakota!🍀🎉
