For some reason, I have always loved this picture of Logan sitting at Marilla Park. I'm not sure if he was caught in the middle of a blink, resting his eyes, or just loving his sandwich. Lol. He was so handsome. He is missed so very much every single minute of every single day. 😇💔 Love you son.

Big announcement! ❤️
I have been searching for the right words since yesterday to express something extraordinary that happened. After struggling with whether to continue leading projects for our community,(since it was so fulfilling, yet so exhausting) I sought guidance through prayer, asking God and Logan for a sign. The sign arrived in an extraordinary way, (A BIG SIGN) - a substantial donation of $50,000 from the Donald E. Fike Family Foundation to Logan's Oasis Organization. This generous contribution is a clear sign & indication that more positive developments are on the horizon for our community. ❤️
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Donald E. Fike Foundation and would like to thank Janice Corrigan from SRCCF for delivering the news. Additionally, appreciation goes to Lexi Finney for sharing Logan's Oasis story with Liberty Village, and to Jessica Stayton for facilitating the connection with the Donald E. Fike Family Foundation. The foundation's kindness towards Logan's Oasis Playground, given its commitment to being handicap and autism-friendly, is deeply appreciated. Poco a Poco Summer Music Fest celebrates it 10th Year this June. Concerts, Jam Sessions, and Student Showcases highlight the arts programming.

Streator Liberty Fest will run July 4th and 5th, and features the Run for Glory 5K, Parade, Touch a Truck, Kids Corner, and more.

Streator Fest runs August 6-9th, featuring Fireworks, Carnival, National Music Acts, Vendors, Food, and fun.

Streator Farmers Market runs every Saturday in June through October at the Streator City Park. It offers fresh, local produce, handmade goods, and friendly faces.

Live Music Performances - Music in the Parks features Live Music at Heritage Park and the City Park, with Jammin at the Clock on Friday nights and the In The Good Old Summertime Concerts at the Plumb Pavilion. You'll also want to check out the entertainment at the The 122 Club, and on the outdoor patios at Gaetano’s Vault, Streator Eagles Club #645, Goodfellas Pizzeria, and Forge 21 Bar And Grill.

Marilla Park is also a must visit. Check out the newly opened Logan's Oasis Organization Playground, the 18-hole Marilla Park Disc Golf Course, our newly updated fishing pond, and nature trails.

Congratulations Logan's Oasis Organization We were glad to be a part of this special day opening and dedicating the playground at Marilla Park for all of Streator to enjoy.

Melissa Crank embarked on a project to remember her son Logan that benefits families and children. Backed by community support, including from City of Streator City Hall and Starved Rock Country Community Foundation, she raised funds to build an inclusive playground at Marilla. The playground is there for everyone to enjoy!

We would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to photographers Allen Culver and Curtis Martin for their outstanding work at our grand opening event. Their exceptional photography skills were greatly appreciated. We particularly want to express our gratitude to Allen, who despite battling stage 4 cancer, selflessly donates his time to capture local events due to his passion for photography and commitment to our community. His dedication is truly inspiring, and we are grateful for his contributions. We encourage everyone to thank him for his tireless efforts and offer their support. 💪❤️

Rules that need to be established for Logan's Oasis Playground. We are getting signs. Please follow the rules. We just ask to please clean up after yourself by throwing any trash in the garbage. Also, be respectful to to others and to the equipment. If you are too big for the equipment, Do Not get on it! Do Not be rough with the equipment! No bikes or skateboards allowed on the playground soft rubber surface! Share the equipment & give others turns, no foul language or fighting. Please drive by slowly & with caution, keep eyes open for children on the run. Please and thank you! Enjoy! ❤️

Amazing update!♥️
First off, we are sorry there hasn't been any updates for a few months. Logan's Oasis has been patiently waiting for updates from the City of Streator. And... We finally have an update!♥️ (If you have been following Logan's Oasis, then you are aware that the City is hiring a contractor to build and install the playground. The city is also adding a few more pieces to the playground to make it even bigger and adding cameras!♥️ Amazing right? The playground equipment company was paid in full at the end of Summer 2025. We had hoped for the playground to be installed during the Fall 2025 but it was pushed back so the city could run bids for contractors, so now we have been hoping for Spring 2026 if everything falls in place in time like we hope. And yesterday we finally received the great anticipated news that the bids have started and the winning bid will be chosen January 19th!♥️ There are 19 contractors competing for the winning bid. (Winning bid means which contractor offers the best priced bid to be hired as the contracting builder of the playground). So I thought I would share the great news! Happy New Years! Great things are to come in 2026! We can't wait! We have all worked so hard and relentlessly to raise the funds to bring this beautiful playground to our amazing community in memory of Logan Crank.😇 Without the help of this community, this would have never been possible!
