-ABOUT THE PROGRAM-
The Stratton/Eustis Summer Recreational program is an 8 week program that will begin June 22nd and run through August 13th, Monday-Thursday from 8:00a.m-3:00p.m. Pick up and drop off will be at the Stratton School daily at 8a.m and 3p.m unless otherwise stated. When a field trip is not scheduled, we will board the bus and go to Pines Beach for the day where swimming, games and
crafts will take place. This summer we are offering a variety of fun, adventerous, and educational activities for our campers. Including but not limited to: hiking, biking, overnight campouts, african drumming, canoe/kayaking, planetarium, Chewonki and Mad Science presentations, and much, much more! We look forward to seeing you!
-BREAKFAST/LUNCH-
Free breakfast, lunch and a snack will be offered during our summer program. Kids who eat breakfast each morning MUST be supervised by their parents and we expect both parent and child to clean up their own area, i.e; take care of food tray, wipe down their table, pick up food that may have fallen on the floor, etc. Our rec program starts at 8:00a.m. so kids must be supervised from 7:30-8:00a.m until our counselors start work. Meal plans will be available at a later date.
-SWIM LESSONS-
The Stratton Rec Program has a Redcross certified lifeguard and water swim instructor. We offer free swimming lessons and they will be placed into their appropriate group the first week of camp.
-COST-
The Stratton Rec Program is free to Stratton Residents, not including the cost of field trips. Our field trips do cost money so please plan ahead. If you are a nonresident and you wish for your child to attend camp, there is a $50 weekly fee + field trips. Breakfast, lunch, and snack are FREE to your child if they wish to have it.
