The laundromat is open! The vending machine is not working, but everything else seems to be in good shape and working! A huge thanks goes out to everyone that helped get our community up and running again!

We will be worshipping as usual at 10am this morning. As of now, the church still does not have electricity, so please dress a little warmer. We may not have power but God does!

The candlelight service and low lighting will be a great reminder to us of the awesome power of God- He makes the storm- but can also calm it by his Word. By His grace our community was mostly spared from what could have been much worse.

Praise God by whom all blessings flow!

Store Update ❤️

We still do not have power, and many of our neighbors are in the same situation. We are incredibly thankful for the linemen and crews working around the clock to restore electricity and repair downed lines.

Some parts of Stover do have power back on, and we’re so grateful to see progress happening.

Thanks to the donated generators, our freezers are still running. We truly can’t thank you enough—without them, we would have lost everything. We’ve done our best to save what we could and even donated usable food to help feed livestock. Unfortunately, we still experienced a loss of about $8,000–$10,000 in meat and other refrigerated items.

As soon as power is restored, we’ll finish cleaning up and begin restocking. We’re hoping to reopen no later than Tuesday. If we’re able to get everything done sooner, we will do our best to open on Monday with what we have available.

We just wanted to keep everyone updated—thank you all for your continued support during this time. ❤️

Reminder you can bring your limbs and branches to the old tennis courts in the park. Please leave enough room for people to come in and unload. And be sure to thank a city worker for taking on this mess and help get our town back in order!

We hope everyone weathered the storm last night safely! The laundromat will be closed until further notice- we did not sustain any damage, but until the electricity is fully on and all is repaired, we wont know if our electrical equipment is damaged. We will post here when we open back up!!
