So beautiful and serene….

But don’t let that fool you. It’s 13 degrees out there even though there is water dripping from the south gutters. Temps are headed into the negatives around midnight and will stay there until 8am tomorrow morning. This is the coldest it will be for this storm.

Now back to our regularly scheduled serene moment….

A few folks have asked how they can donate to The Menagerie to help with the Repair of Big Hoss and what not. Most of you know I covered 95% of rhe expenses for the Menagerie this year. We’ve received some much appreciated donations and fundraisers throughout the year, for which i am very grateful. Your help would make a huge difference right now.

This is Angelface. Or Angel for short. Yesterday, Angel got into it with some barb wire (I think) and ended up needing over 30 stitches on the inside of her right leg-right where the leg attaches to the hip.

She’s pictured here heavily sedated and without her cone of shame.

Angel will be a year old 12/31 and is one of the sweetest snuggler from her litter. She is looking for a new home (still have 8 of the 10 puppies, so 8 of them are needing to be adopted). She is a Catahoula leopard dog mixed with red tick c**n hound. PM me if you have interest.

Good Morning Muck boots!

After a soaking rain for 8 hours, there is water standing in places I’ve not seen water stand.

Definitely not going to be able to pull off morning chores wearing crocks today!

Definitely gonna jump in the side by side and head to the bottom to see if the creek is running hard.
