About Us

The Compassion Furniture Bank is a faith-based nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization located on US Highway 22 E near the Pickaway and Fairfield county line. The Compassion Furniture Bank collects gently used furniture from generous donors in the community. The bank then inspects and cleans the furniture before delivering it to individuals and families in need in Fairfield and Pickaway Counties.

Compassion Furniture Bank was established in 2018 by Seth and Tammy Myers. God placed a burning passion in their hearts to serve neighbors in need of essential furniture items. This passion led them to purchase property with a 2,400 square foot pole barn on US Highway 22 in Pickaway County. The pole barn serves as the warehouse for donated furniture items. With the support of Michelle and John Hill, volunteers, and God’s blessings, the furniture bank is now ready to tackle a desperately growing need in the community.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV).
