On Sunday, Stoughton Girl Scouts held our annual town-wide bridging ceremony. We had over 40 girls bridge to the next level of Girl Scouting. Among those bridging, we had four graduating high schoolers who bridged to Adult Girl Scouts- Naigéia Colon, Audrey Fresina, Keala Harris, and Adalina Tucker. We also celebrated our Stoughton Girl Scout leaders of the year Audrey Fresina and Keala Harris; plus GSEMA recognized Volunteer Pin recipient Iluka Harris.

Girl Scout bridging is a defining milestone where a scout officially transitions to the next program level. It is essential because it celebrates past accomplishments, instills confidence, and symbolizes their readiness to take on new responsibilities and leadership challenges.

Congrats to all who bridged.

Stoughton Girl Scouts would like to congratulate Keala Harris as she received her Gold Award at the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts ceremony today.

We are looking forward to celebrating you and your impact locally here in Stoughton at our own Gold Award Ceremony on June 14.

Stoughton Girl Scouts would like to share and celebrate this awesome accomplishment and community resource.

Last night was the "How do I cook this?" cookbook launch for Stoughton Girl Scout Keala's Gold Award Project to benefit the shoppers St. Anthony’s Free Market Food Pantry and greater community.

Keala highlighted and detailed her over 110 hours of work so far to research and develop this cookbook to prevent food waste for our local pantry, which is offered in three different languages. This book offers recipes and information on how to cook the food pantry's staples. Over the coming weeks, she will measure her impact and write her final Gold Award report for approval.
