Stoughton Girl Scouts would like to share and celebrate this awesome accomplishment and community resource.

Last night was the "How do I cook this?" cookbook launch for Stoughton Girl Scout Keala's Gold Award Project to benefit the shoppers St. Anthony’s Free Market Food Pantry and greater community.

Keala highlighted and detailed her over 110 hours of work so far to research and develop this cookbook to prevent food waste for our local pantry, which is offered in three different languages. This book offers recipes and information on how to cook the food pantry's staples. Over the coming weeks, she will measure her impact and write her final Gold Award report for approval.

Stoughton Girl Scouts held its annual Bridging Ceremony at beautiful Glen Echo Park. This year over 25 Girl Scouts were recognized as they made their journey to the next level of Girl Scouting. Stoughton proudly celebrated girls flying up or bridging from Daisy to Brownie, Brownie to Junior, Junior to Cadette, Cadette to Senior, and Senior to Ambassador. Plus, two graduating Ambassadors who bridged to Adult Girl Scouting!

At the Bridging Ceremony, Lauren Piasecki Spears was recognized as Stoughton Leader of the Year. In addition, Christine Wilbur was recognized for their recent volunteer award from Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts. A special thanks to Caitlin Beberman from GSEMA for joining us.
